Dr Antonia Tzemanaki is Senior Lecturer in Robotics at the School of Engineering Mathematics and Technology at the University of Bristol and leads the Dexterous Manipulation and Wearable Robotics group at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory. She obtained her PhD in Medical Robotics in 2016 and MSc in Robotics in 2011 from the University of the West of England, and MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2009 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Her research includes human and robot hands, hand exoskeletons, haptics and soft tactile sensing, with applications in surgery, healthcare and extreme environments such as nuclear and space industry. Since 2017, she has been leading on projects funded by Cancer Research UK, EPSRC and EU Horizon 2020.
